Why Computer Shield exists

Security warnings can be confusing, especially when a page tries to frighten someone into calling a stranger or giving up remote access. Shield brings local observations, clear review tools and fullscreen escape controls together so people have time to make a considered decision.

The current app focuses on desktop monitoring, recoverable encrypted quarantine and a local partnership with ArRENCE Browser. It runs as the signed-in user and works alongside existing Windows and antivirus protections.

A shared approach

ArRENCE Browser helps people browse, read and ask questions with its optional AI assistant, Ren. Connecting it to Shield adds page-level warning signals without sending page content or browsing history to Shield.

Developed in the United States, with practical controls, privacy-conscious defaults and straightforward explanations of what the tools can do.
